Green Zone: Weekend Review
This movie seemed like the fourth movie in the Bourne Series so I decided to take a leave of absence and catch this when it drops straight to DVD. ($1 a day rentals @ Pathmark) Thankfully the people at Rotten Tomatoes are a lot nicer than me so they put together a nice review of “Green Zone.” The film obviously features Matt Damon and as far as I’m concerned it’s just another war movie and nothing’s topping “The Hurt Locker.” To watch the full review click here. I’m rocking out to Carolina Liar’s “I’m Not Over.”
Weekend Review: Precious
Last week was chock full of business so I decided to dedicate the weekend to spending time with family. We all decided a movie would suffice and my mind exploded with anticipation. (I’m a sucker for movies) I wanted to watch something halfway exciting or funny considering the weather outside was horrible and down right depressing. The movie didn’t have to be new for all I cared I would have easily settled for “Half Baked” or “Lethal Weapon” (had they been options). However, after all was said and done I completely lost and to add insult to injury my family settled on watching ….drumroll… ”Precious.” The most disheartening, gritty, and completely miserable movie you could watch aside from “Passion of the Christ” or “Army Wives” reruns. My spine cringed with agony of the thought. Oh boy…
Warning! Spoiler alert! If you don’t want to know how the movie ended or what happened then stop reading now! If you don’t care keep on! Forget a plot and ending breakdown like I usually do. Here is one paragraph breakdown of how I felt watching the movie:

Weekend Review: Shutter Island, Avatar 3D (Warning! Spoilers Ahead)
The past weekend I was able to crash the movie theatre for a double dose a cinemas finest. To start off my blockbuster weekend was a Friday night with Scorcese’s lastest work “Shutter Island,” a masterful blend of suspence and Hitchock-esqe thrills. Next, on Saturday night after a competetive game of bowling with the fam, I dove face first into fantasy and adventure with James Cameron’s blockbuster, “Avatar” in 3D. All together it was well worth the money dished out. Here is the inside scoop before you go spend your $10.50 to see it. Warning! This article contains spoilers!
